Karina Keisler

Karina Keisler provides executive counsel on all matters’ reputation. With more than two decades' experience restoring corporate reputations following crises, she has a deep understanding of brands, personal and corporate, and the importance of genuine stakeholder engagement and storytelling through traditional and digital/social channels.

Karina Keisler founded Hive Mind Australia in 2020 bringing more than two decades’ experience in reputation management and corporate affairs. She has led the communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for some of Australia’s best-known crisis recoveries.

In 2018 she was brought into Cricket Australia following the sandpaper scandal. Prior to this, Karina joined NBN Co in 2014 to help elevate the conversation above the politics and get Australians excited about a connected future. She led the corporate affairs team at Vodafone Australia following one of Australia’s most widely known reputation crises #Vodafail and spent a decade at Telstra in corporate affairs.

A Non-Executive Director on the Alcohol and Drug Foundation and a Member of the United Nations’ Women’s Committee for International Women’s Day, Karina is also an avid supporter of diversity in the workforce and a strong advocate for emerging female leaders through the Mentor Walks program.

Karina holds a Masters of Communications from Deakin University.

Laura Clarke, MBA

Skilled communicator, media and stakeholder strategist with deep broadcast experience.

A communications chameleon and Global MBA recipient with experience in Australia, the Caribbean, China, the Middle East, the U.K., U.S. and Russia, Laura is adept at tailoring communications for a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders.

Collaborating with CEOs, Prime Ministers and senior leaders, most notably in education, politics and investor immigration, Laura excels at understanding then simplifying complex ideas into media-ready sentiments.

Laura has managed large-scale projects including the television and radio campaigns for the NSW Nationals during the 2016 Federal Election and executed global end-to-end campaigns with corporate partners like the Financial Times.

Originally from a farming background, Laura takes pride in a hard day's work and excels under pressure with both pragmatism and creative problem-solving. A lifelong learner, as evidenced by an undergraduate degree with first class honours, a graduate diploma in documentary, and visiting fellowship, she most recently completed a Global MBA specialising in leadership at EDHEC Business School in France.

Additionally, Laura runs a small video business and can provide the full suite of production services from idea conception to a final edited product.

Lisa is a marketing professional with a career spanning over two decades in retail, commercial, property management, hospitality, fashion and tourism.

Throughout her career, Lisa has developed and executed national, regional and local marketing and brand strategies for global and ASX Top 50 companies including Vicinity Centres (formerly Centro and Federation Centres) and Billabong in Australia and Marks & Spencer in the UK.

Lisa has strong leadership and stakeholder management skills having worked with diverse teams of professionals across all disciplines of brand, marketing, communications and customer experience: B2B and B2C marketing, segmentation, social media and content, retail communications, stakeholder engagement, customer experience, innovation, brand programs, event management, destination marketing. As a result, she has forged strong relationships with business leaders, community groups, local government, and industry.

Angela Martinkus

Angela is a communication director specialising in stakeholder and industry engagement, managing disruption and change and simplifying complexity.

Experience spanning issues, events, compliance, financial reporting requirements and business transformation programs obtained over 20 years in the telco, higher education and construction sectors and 10 years as a journalist and magazine editor.

An astute and intuitive manager who can quickly scan new business environments and create strategy and frameworks to manage complex issues, establish and maintain positive stakeholder relationships, and collaborate to deliver on large-scale projects.

Recognised as a natural and authentic communicator Angela provides executives with pragmatic advice and robust messaging to tell the story of their business, and promote their profile using the most appropriate technology, tools and channels.
